Lynda : Proprietor and Executive Stylist Lynda was born and educated in Carlisle. As a teenager she attended the Redroofs Theatre School, Maidenhead alongside trainee actress Kate Winslett. Sadly, while appearing in the film Chasing the Deer with Brian Blessed, Iain Cuthbertson and Marillion’s Fish she caught laryngitis, damaged her vocal chords and was forced to abandon her theatrical ambitions. After a year travelling and working in South Africa, Lynda discovered her passion and flair for hair, trained as a stylist and opened Lockstock Hairdressing in 2004. She has embraced thoughtful PR and stylish marketing to give her salon a highly original image, attracting customers from all over the country.

Sophie : Stylist, Colourist & Great Lengths Applier Carlisle-born Sophie lives and breathes hair and her ever-changing styles and colours inspire clients to try new looks! Naturally talented, she won a major academy competition in Romantic Design that included hair, make-up and clothes. Her ambition for 2012 is to manage the next salon photo shoot and produce Lockstock’s Spring billboard.

lucy : Stylist and Colourist Lucy began working at Lockstock Hairdressing in the Spring of 2010 and is an enthusiastic and highly-accomplished stylist. Her bubbly, outgoing personality and individual funky style is an inspiration to her colleagues on the floor. Having attended several L’oreal Inoa seminars (which is the first-ever ammonia free colouring creation), Lucy is spreading the word to clients about this great innovation in the hairdressing industry.
